Mission

The Southampton Youth Association, affectionately referred to as S.Y.A., is a non-profit corporation. It was established 50 years ago to provide recreational services to our local school age children, during out of school hours. Our ultimate goal is to provide wholesome, joyful, and beneficial social recreational experiences for youngsters. It has also been our effort to create employment opportunities and be an advocate for young people. S.Y.A. has stressed instruction and sportsmanship over winning. We have successfully raised consciousness that “Sports Build Character and Bring Us Together”.
