To sponsor baseball and soccer programs for children residing in and around the 68th precinct of the New York City Police Department.

About

The youth council sponsored a baseball program for children ages 5 through 14, an outdoor soccer program for children ages 4 through 17, and an indoor soccer program for children ages 6 through 12. Approximately 350 children participated in the baseball program, approximately 950 children participated in the outdoor soccer program, and approximately 100 children participated in the indoor soccer program.
