About
The Agape Clinic accomplishes its mission by providing primary medical care, specialty medical services and dental care. Acute care and illness as well as routine physicals, and chronic disease management are addressed in our primary care services. Specialty services include women's health, neurology, pediatrics, dermatology, asthma and allergy, ophthalmology, pediatrics, counseling services and endocrinology. Through a collaboration with Texas A & M College of Dentistry, the Agape Clinic provided 5,236 dental visits and over 11,917 medical visits were performed. The Agape Clinic provided over 8 million dollars of medical care to the community at 1/8 the cost. Through partnerships with educational institutions, over 100 medical volunteers and a dedicated staff the Agape Clinic strives to heal those in our community suffering without access to quality medical services. The Agape Clinic's patients typically do not qualify for other charity health services, are uninsured or are under insured and their only option is to self-pay for care which is cost prohibitive for those living near or below the poverty line.
