To serve veterans with compassion and advocate for all who have worn our nation’s uniform so they can RISE and live life to the fullest. Wellness & Supportive Services: Wellness: Readjustment counseling, art therapy, and group therapy, are offered through VOC's Wellness program. 100% of those served received case management services ensuring that every client has an individualized and holistic plan to wellness. Counseling and art therapy services offer assistance and guidance in resolving personal, social, familial, behavioral, or psychological challenges and difficulties. In 2018, 176 veterans and family members were referred to the Wellness program.Continued on Schedule OSupportive Services: VOC offers a portfolio of no-cost services available to all veterans and immediate family members. There were 1,246 new clients in 2018. Benefits counseling, temporary financial assistance, housing search, peer mentoring, financial counseling and budget workshops, and legal counseling are some of the services provided in 2018. Annually, over 400 veteran families were provided housing search and placement services. VOC's Quartermaster program provided food, clothing, and hygiene supplies to veterans over 350 times.This program is supported by Government grants. Grants received for this program in 2018 totaled $1,308,334.
