About this organization
Mission
The mission of Operation Serve is to motivate and mobilize concerned Christians to assist in the work of God among the poor and destitute in underserved and unreached places. OSI seeks to strengthen existing ministries in their presentation of the Gospel of Christ by communicating the love of God in both word and deed.
About
Mercy missions - OSI mobilizes individuals and teams of short term missionaries to provide physical and spiritual relief to the poor, homeless, distressed, and under-privileged. Mobilized teams provided free medical, dental, eye care and hair care for the poor. Through team fees and team scholarships revenue we are able to sponsor this program and mobilize short term missionaries as part of the team to share the love of God in word and deed. A large part of the mercy mission program is travel related such as lodging, transportation, and meals of the volunteers. In 2019 OSI mobilized 339 individuals from 60 churches and representing 16 states to serve in Mexico and Egypt. OSI provided medical care to 3571 people, dental care to 575 people, eyeglasses and optical care to 4602 people and personal touch ministry served 2477.
