Mission
Kidzu Children's Museum provides hands-on learning experiences for young children aged 0-8 years and their caregivers. The museum's educational initiatives include interactive exhibits; weekly programs such as storytimes, music programs, art classes, program on healthy eating, etc.; child development education programs for caregivers; field trips for preschools, child care centers and schools; and outreach programs for children and families in need.
About
An estimated 30,000 children and adults experienced the learning opportunities provided by the museum. The organization is planning for a new and expanded location in downtown Chapel Hill, NC, where it will be able to offer a greater variety of exhibits and will have space to offer more programs to its members and the general public.
