THE ORGANIZATION'S PRIMARY EXEMPT PURPOSE IS TO PROVIDE EDUCATION, FOOD, SHELTER, SERVICES AND MEDICAL CARE TO POOR CHILDREN IN HONDURAS. THE ORGANIZATION OPERATES PROGRAMS TO HELP IN THE CONSTRUCTION OF SCHOOLS, ORPHANAGES, AND COMMUNITY FACILITIES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES MEDICAL SUPPLIES, EDUCATIONAL SUPPLIES, FOOD, AND CLOTHING TO HONDURAN SCHOOLS AND ORPHANAGES.

PROGRAM SERVICE ACCOMPLISHMENTS1. HOGAR DE AMOR CHILDREN'S HOME - THERE WERE 26 CHILDREN IN OUR CARE. WE LOOK FOR SPONSORS AND SUPPORT FOR EACH CHILD TO GIVE THEM THEIR FOOD, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, BOOKS, VITAMINS, MEDICAL ASSISTANCE, TRANSPORTATION TO SCHOOL, CHURCH AND OUTGOINGS. WE PROVIDE FOR THEIR PHYSICAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL NEEDS.2. JUNGLE SCHOOL - KINDERGARTEN THROUGH NINTH GRADE WITH 240 STUDENTS, ELEVEN CLASSROOMS AND TWELVE TEACHERS, INCLUDING THE ENGLISH AND COMPUTER TEACHERS. THE SCHOOL IS FOR THE CHILDREN OF VERY POOR ECONOMIC RESOURCES. THE CHILDREN COME FROM SEVERAL COMMUNITIES IN THE RIO CANGREJAL BASIN. THE KIDS FROM THE HOGAR DE AMOR HOME ALSO ATTENDED THIS SCHOOL. WE PROVIDE A FULL LUNCH AND A SNACK TO EACH STUDENT FIVE TIMES A WEEK; SCHOOL SUPPLIES; UNIFORMS AND SHOES TO THE NEEDIEST, SCHOOLBOOKS, TOOTHBRUSH AND TOOTHPASTE. WE HAVE A NURSE WHO HELPS THE SCHOOL CHILDREN WITH MEDICAL CHECKUPS, MEDICINES, VITAMINS, ANTI-PARASITIC MEDS, AND MAINTAIN RECORDS OF HEALTH FOR EACH CHILD. SHE ALSO GIVES MEDICAL CHECKUPS TO PARENTS WHEN POSSIBLE. THE CHILDREN ARE TAUGHT BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES AND MORALS DURING THE WEEK.3. PEASANTS VILLAGES - LA BOMBA (JUTIAPA, ATLANTIDA), EL BONITILLO (LA CEIBA, ATLANTIDA) AND EL NARANJO (EL NARANJO, ATLANTIDA). THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 300 FAMILIES WITH 700 CHILDREN THAT WE SERVE WITH FORTIFIED RICE, BEANS; CLOTHING, SHOES, TOYS, AND PINATAS, ETC. VOLUNTEER GROUPS ALSO VISIT AND PROVIDE MEDICAL CHECKUPS AND PREACH THE GOSPEL. WE ALSO HELP THE ELDERLY OF THESE COMMUNITES AND SINGLE MOTHERS.4. SCHOLARSHIPS TO HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS - WE HELP SEVERAL STUDENTS WHO GRADUATED NINTH GRADE FROM THE JUNGLE SCHOOL, AND OTHER YOUTH IN THE COMMUNITY WHO GRADUATED TWELFTH GRADE, WITH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITY REGISTRATION FEES EACH MONTH; LIVING EXPENSES, FOOD, SCHOOL SUPPLIES, BACKPACKS, UNIFORMS, CLOTHES AND SHOES SO THEY CAN FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION AT OTHER COMMUNITY HIGH SCHOOL AND UNIVERSITIES.5. FEEDING CENTERS - WE PROVIDE FORTIFIED RICE TO ONE CHURCH-RUN FEEDING CENTER IN THE COMMUNITY OF EL PINO AND ALSO TO SEVERAL OTHER SMALLER FEEDING CENTERS IN THE COMMUNITY OF EL PORVENIR TO HELP ABOUT 125 CHILDERN.WE HELP MORE THAN 900 CHILDREN AND PEOPLE IN THE FIVE PROGRAMS OF ANH ON A MONTHLY BASIS.
