Mission
A youth swim team fostering amateur sports competition
About
The team members are divided by age group. The youngsters newest to the team receive stroking instructions in four different strokes needed to compete. Endurance and competition techniques are also taught. These children are as young as 7 years old. Once the children have learned the basics, they are divided into age groups of 10 and under; 11-13; and 14 to 18. The swimmers then have the opportunity to continue to develop their skills and compete with other teams in their age groups in the Southern California area. In 2015, 149 families were involved in the team with 166 swimmers who participated in 33 swim meets.
