Columbus Collegiate Academy students achieved strong academic gains during the 2016-17 school year. Based on national norm-referenced assessments, CCA eighth graders grew two years in reading and eighth grade students in special education grew nearly four years in one academic year. In each of the three tested areas in eighth grade, CCA eighth graders beat the state average, demonstrating that the longer students stay with us, the better their educational attainment and preparation. In addition to the academic growth, CCA students participated in multiple enrichment through the after school enrichment program, students were exposed to myriad enrichment activities across the arts and science spectrum.
