To raise funds that will directly or indirectly support the goals of the New Jersey Turfgrass Association and the work of the Rutgers Center for Turfgrass Science.

Scholarships. The recipients are to be students at Cook College/Rutgers University or another institution of higher education related to the turf program. These students should have completed one year or more toward his/her education. The student must have a sincere commitment to turfgrass as a career. Work experience on a site in growing turf or work on turf research is an important qualification along with the scholastic record.
