Attendant care program: This program provides personal care assistance to individuals with physical disabilities, allowing them to remain in their homes instead of inpatient care. In addition, through the attendant care program, environmental modifications to living facilities and durable medical equipment are provided to individuals to allow them to live independently. Other services provided to individuals include transportation. A total of over 100 consumers were served during the fiscal year. Funding for this program comes from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's Department of Public Welfare through Medical Assistance Waiver, Act 150, CSPPD-Independence, and OBRA-Independence.
