The Kennett Area Senior Center provides programs to help adults, 50 and better, live with dignity, independence and as active community members. Affordable and no cost services are provided to over 2,000 seniors. These include educational, health and wellness, recreational/social, daily meals, and advocacy through information & assistance. We also provide the assisted senior program, which offers socialization and meaningful activity for individuals who are living with Alzheimer's-type memory impairment and/or mild mobility impairment, as well as much needed respite for their caregivers and their families. In support of the center's programs, our generous volunteers provide over 22,000 hours per year.
