During 2018, Engineers in Action (EIA) provided financial, technical and administrative support to three field programs: Bolivia, Ecuador and the Bridge Program. Services include fundraising on behalf of the organization, financial transfers from the US to in-country offices, website management, accounting support and oversight and promotion of EIA project and programs to raise awareness and recruit volunteer participants. Our Bolivia program supported the design and construction of critical infrastructure projects in 24 communities. The work included logistical and technical support for 19 teams of volunteers who came to Bolivia from North America and Europe. It also included close communication and coordination with community, municipal and state government officials and agencies to identify communities in need and to secure program support.
