Mission

To offer a strong academic program to students in grades 9-12 who are in recovery from substance abuse and/or addiction that allows them to focus on learning in an environment in which sobriety is required and supported.

About

The Bridge Way School provides core academic courses and credits as required by the PA Department of Education so that graduating students can transition to other secondary schools, post-secondary programs and/or employment. The curriculum is designed specifically to meet individual needs of students, with particular emphasis on issues that research indicates often arise in students with addition. As The Bridge Way School recognizes the need to develop strategies for maintaining sobriety, the specialized staff facilitate daily support meetings, meet with instructional staff routinely to provide updates on students, and provide on-site crisis counseling and referrals for long-term individual and family therapy when needed. The Bridge Way School has served students aged 14-19 in the five-county area as well as parts of southern New Jersey and Delaware.
