RAISING AWARENESS OF THE WAYS TO SHARE LIFE WITH OTHERS THROUGH THE DONATION OF BLOOD, MARROW, CORD BLOOD, ORGAN AND TISSUE. PROMOTING AWARENESS THROUGH MARATHONS AND OTHER SPORTING EVENTS. FIVE POINTS OF LIFE FOUNDATION HELD ITS ANNUAL RACE WEEKEND IN GAINESVILLE ON FEBRUARY 16 AND 17, 2019, WHICH INCLUDED MARATHON, HALF-MARATHON, 5K, AND KIDS MARATHON RACES. IN 2019, THERE WERE A TOTAL OF 104 PARTICIPANTS IN THE MARATHON EVENT AND 496 PARTICIPANTS IN THE HALF-MARATHON. 618 PEOPLE PARTICIPATED IN THE 5K EVENT AND 791 IN THE KIDS MARATHON. FIVE POINTS ALSO ORGANIZED KIDS' MARATHON EVENTS IN OTHER CITIES, WHICH SAW 3,100 CHILDREN PARTICIPATE,REPRESENTING MORE THAN 370 SCHOOLS.
