About

Apprisen provides comprehensive financial counseling and education to individuals and families seeking to improve their financial health. During 2018, we held approximately 11,000 confidential, individual counseling sessions with predominantly low-to-moderate income consumers. Our certified counselors provided them with a better understanding of their financial situation, a review of their options, and the development of an individualized action plan to address their financial goals and concerns. About 29% of those counseled enter into a debt management program (DMP). The DMP is a structured program that helps individuals repay their unsecured debt. As part of our debt management program, individuals paid down $31,120,000 worth of debt in 2018. 78% of the people who completed the debt management program in 2018 did so successfully.
