ShadoArt Productions, Inc. dba Shadowbox Live, is the nation's largest resident ensemble theater company. Founded in Columbus, Ohio in 1988, Shadowbox is an artist-run organization with a focus on creating and performing all original works; presenting over 400 performances of 19 different original productions annually. The high-energy live performance experience breaks down traditional barriers between actor and audience as Shadowbox performers fulfill roles throughout the pre and post-show experience. Ever pursuant of the goals to inspire, create and educate, Shadowbox uses each production to creatively align partners and implement programs to deepen community engagement.
