Mission

To foster a deep appreciation of the American musical and the social and cultural history that surrounds it by creating programs that educate as well as entertain people of all ages.

About

School programs: over 8,000 students and 200 teachers at 85 NE Ohio schools or community sites participated in TMTP's in-school 'Kids Love Musicals' residency program, which uses songs from classic American musicals to introduce students to the art form. Schools included public, private and charter schools in rural, suburban and urban settings. TMTP offers adaptations for intergenerational and special education settings for schools and community organizations. TMTP conceived and executed the teacher preparation guide for the Cleveland Metropolitan School District's all-city musical and served as the project's fiscal agent.
