COMMUNITY SERVICES MADE 9,280 PAYMENTS FOR UTILITIES, RENT, FOOD, GASOLINE, PRESCRIPTIONS, OR EMPLOYMENT RELATED NEEDS ON BEHALF OF LOW-INCOME HOUSEHOLDS. THE SOUP KITCHEN SERVED 11,001 MEALS TO LOW-INCOME INDIVIDUALS. IT ALSO PROVIDED 1,820 UNITS OF TRANSPORTATION TO CONSUMERS AND FOR FOOD DONATION PICKUP. FIFTEEN INCOME ELIGIBLE CONSUMERS PARTICIPATED IN INDIVIDUAL DEVELOPMENT ACCOUNTS FOR HOME OWNERSHIP OR TO FURTHER THEIR EDUCATION. FOUR HOMES WERE PURCHASED AND TEN CONSUMERS RECEIVED POST-SECONDARY EDUCATION IN 2018. ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-TWO INDIVIDUALS PARTICIPATED IN "GETTING AHEAD IN A JUST GETTING BY WORLD" CLASSES. FINANCIAL COACHING CLASSES WERE GIVEN TO 76 CLIENTS AND 322 PEOPLE ATTENDED MONEY MANAGEMENT CLASSES. APPLICATION FOR 4,320 LOW-INCOME CUSTOMERS WERE PROCESSED RESULTING IN AN AFFORDABLE INCOME-BASED UTILITY PAYMENT PLAN. TWO HUNDRED SIXTY-TWO AIR CONDITIONERS AND ONE HUNDRED FIFTEEN FANS WERE DISTRIBUTED TO ELIGIBILITY HOUSEHOLDS. NOCAC PROVIDED 1,267 LOW TO MODERATE INCOME HOUSEHOLDS WITH FREE TAX PREPARATION THROUGH THE OHIO BENEFIT BANK.
