The food pantry has been serving the people of North Texas since 1979, when a massive tornado hit Wichita Falls. In 2018, the Floral Heights Community Food Pantry became the North Texas Pantry and remains a community response to those in need.

The food pantry is open Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9:00 to 11:00. In addition to food, fresh produce is given out on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays when available. Clients can use the services once every 30 days and the food pantry is signing up an average of 300 new clients each month.
