Project Fit America's mission is to raise funds in order to donate health and fitness programs & equipment to schools, grades 1-8. Since inception, approximately 564,000 children have directly benefited from our programs. Project Fit America's mission is to raise funds in order to donate health and fitness programs & equipment to schools, grades 1-8 to promote cardiovascular health and lifetime fitness education. Under this umbrella Project Fit America will address, self-esteem, smoking intervention, and fitness as fun, exercise and understanding your body. The program goal is to reverse the lack of fitness in youth and to teach children to take personal responsibility for their health. Our objective is to give children a positive relationship with their bodies, as a deterrent to the at-risk choices, which face our youth, as they grow older. In addition, Project Fit America help teachers by providing programs to diffuse aggressive behavior in children through physical activities.
