Wayside Recovery Center breaks the cycle of addiction and trauma for women, children, and families.

About

Women's Treatment Center (WTC) provides residential treatment for up to 41 women at a time and is designed to serve women with substance use disorders and/or mental health conditions who: (1) have had previous unsuccessful treatment experiences; (2) struggle with a serious mental illness; (3) have experienced significant developmental and/or situational trauma; (4) are impoverished and have long term homeless circumstances; and/or (5) are pregnant, post-partum, or parenting. Women receive coordinated behavioral and physical health care tailored to their medical needs and treatment history while receiving continuing care and supportive services from our skilled and caring staff including counselors, clinical case managers and peer support specialists. These wrap-around services ensure that women are connected to health services; understand how to establish and maintain a sober support network; receive assistance in financial and work readiness; and are connected to safe, affordable housing options. Location: St. Louis Park, MN. In 2019, 290 women were engaged in women's treatment with an average length of stay at 54 days. Sixty-three percent of women completed this treatment successfully.
