Mission
As a community mediation program, Community Mediation & Restorative Services, Inc. grew out of the belief that people can often resolve their own conflicts when given the opportunity to come 'to the table' in a safe, neutral place. Trained volunteer mediators provide a structure and process that empowers the parties to better communicate and to work out an agreement that addresses their interests. CMRS works closely with cities, community agencies, law enforcement, schools, and the courts to promote respectful approaches to conflict.

Community based mediation services: CMRS helps neighbors, consumers, families, employees, landlords and tenants and organizations to find mutually acceptable and lasting resolutions. In 2018, CMRS launched several housing stability mediation services and partnerships.
