PRE-KINDERGARTEN CRCS HAS AN APPROVED VOLUNTARY PRE-KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM BY THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION. THE PROGRAM ENROLLS UP TO 20 STUDENTS AND IS VERY POPULAR WITHIN THE CEDAR RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY. THERE IS A WAITING LIST EVERY YEAR FOR FAMILIES TO ENROLL THEIR CHILD.PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENTCRCS CONTINUES TO PROVIDE ON-SITE TRAINING AND CERTIFICATION FOR TEACHERS AND PARAPROFESSIONALS IN THE AREA OF ENVOY. ADSISCRCS PARTICIPATES IN A PROGRAM THROUGH THE MINNESOTA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION CALLED ADSIS (ALTERNATIVE DELIVERY OF SPECIALIZED INSTRUCTIONAL SERVICES). THIS PROGRAM ASSISTS STUDENTS WHO NEED ADDITIONAL ACADEMIC AND/OR BEHAVIOR SUPPORT IN THE GENERAL EDUCATION SETTING.AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMCRCS CONTINUED TO HAVE THEIR AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES K TO 8 DURING THE 2017-18 SCHOOL YEAR. OVER 100 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM. THE AFTERSCHOOL PROGRAM WAS TAUGHT BY CRCS TEACHERS AND TEACHING ASSISTANTS. THE PROGRAM FOCUSED ON REINFORCING MATH, READING, AND BEHAVIOR FOR STUDENTS. IT RAN FROM OCTOBER TO MAY. SUMMER SCHOOLCRCS HAS A SUMMER SCHOOL PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS IN GRADES K TO 8 DURING THE SUMMER. STUDENTS ENTERING KINDERGARTEN TO 8TH GRADE PARTICIPATED IN THE PROGRAM. OVER 60 STUDENTS PARTICIPATED IN THE SUMMER PROGRAM. THE FOCUS WAS IN MATH, READING, AND BEHAVIOR.
