Mission
Natura Bolivia Foundation is dedicated to conserving rainforests and habitats in Latin America, in a way that contributes to the well-being of local communities. We also work to develop watershed conservation and incentive systems, and evaluate the impact of conservation and development interventions, with a primary focus in Bolivia. We work hand-in-hand with Fundacion Natura Bolivia (www.naturabolivia.org), improving the scope and effectiveness of their interventions, and extend their training programs for watershed and conservation projects around the world.
About
The Natura Bolivia Foundation assesses the effectiveness of conservation interventions in Latin America, though a program of academic and applied socioeconomic, hydrological, and biophysical research. In 2018 we hired short term consultants, purchased equipment to undertake scientific surveys and made two grants, one to the National University of Colombia, and one to Fundacion Natura Bolivia, to implement the evaluation programs.
