Genesis Senior Living, Aledo (GSL Aledo) offers a wide range of health care services, from short-term rehab, respite and hospice care, to long-term skilled nursing care. GSL Aledo's skilled nursing facility houses 92 beds. Rehabilitation and restorative care is offered seven days a week by evaluating each resident and developing a therapy program designed to fit their specific needs. Different types of our rehabilitation programs include: strengthening exercises, ambulation, hydrocollator packs, paraffin baths, transfer training, assisted dining programs, communication programs, and more. Services provided in transition care include: counseling services for residents and families, assistance with advanced directives, assistance with securing needed items for residents, transportation coordination, specialized group therapies, and discharge planning. GSL Aledo provides transportation for local appointments at no charge in our fully equipped handicapped accessible van. Licensed staff accommodate the medical needs of our residents through: nursing assessment, physician referral, medication administration, inter-departmental evaluation, and family input.
