About
The Monterey Bay Swim Club (MBSC)trained over 130 swimmers year around at the Monterey Peninsula College (MPC) pool and offered a high quality Learn-To-Swim program for over 150 children in pools at MPC and Seaside, CA. MBSC promotes swimming as a healthful athletic experience in which children can continue to participate throughout their adult lives. Competitive swimming provides children with opportunities to learn and improve their skills, to build self-confidence. The year around program is carefully designed to encourage and support swimmers of all ages who are looking for superior training, coaching and competition. MBSC frequently participates in nationally recognized events. The Club is an official member of Zone 1 South within Pacific Swimming, a branch of USA swimming, which is the national governing body of amateur swimming in the USA.
