Respond, Inc., New England's first domestic violence agency and the nation's second, is dedicated to partnering with individuals, families and communities to end the serious public health issue of domestic violence.

Respond provides shelter and community-based services that help victims of domestic violence establish personal safety and succeed in all areas of their lives. Services include an emergency shelter, 24-hour hotline, support groups, individual counseling and community outreach, and educational programs. All services are free and confidential. Program participants are of all ages, genders, income levels, and racial and ethnic backgrounds. Respond serves all victims of domestic abuse including immigrants, refugees, disabled individuals, and members of the GBLTQQI community.
