Mission

Pathways.org provides FREE tools to maximize all children’s motor, sensory, and communication development.

About

Pathways Educational Outreach: Pathways.org is dedicated to sharing information about children's development, as well as raising awareness and promoting the benefits of early detection and early therapy for children who have a motor, sensory, or communication delay. By providing educational resources on these topics, all children have the ability to achieve optimal development leading to improved functional independence, social and emotional well-being, and integration into the community. Using the expertise of Pathways.org Medical Roundtable comprised of leading physicians, clinicians, nurse practitioners and lay advisors, we develop and disseminate print and video materials to parents and healthcare professionals, participate in professional and medical conferences, and develop continuing education programs for medical professionals. The Pathways.org materials are used worldwide and trusted by thousands of healthcare Professionals around the world. More than 300 educational websites and universities link to the Pathways.org website because they trust the information that Pathways.org provides. During fiscal year 2019, our videos were viewed over 4 million times on YouTube and our website had 2.6 million users. All materials are reviewed by experienced pediatric speech language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists. Additionally, all milestones are validated by American Academy of Pediatrics findings. Some of the most recent projects in progress include, development of a baby handling course for early intervention therapists and parents, 100+ videos of games to promote motor, sensory, and communication development and a parent guide video series, just to name a few. To promote full inclusion, we created an initiative called TEAM W, (That Every Ability May Worship), which raises awareness about barriers to participation that exist in many faith communities. The program assists congregations of all denominations to welcome persons of all abilities into all aspects of faith life.
