Mission

The Mission of CFH, Inc. (formerly Catholics for Housing) is to provide affordable housing opportunities to low and moderate income households throughout Northern Virginia. CFH works to expand affordable housing through affordable rentals, direct-service programs, life skills education and affordable homeownership initiatives. CFH is a 501(c)(3) organization that provides services on a non-denominational basis.

Rental Properties. CFH has owned 7 Affordable Dwelling Units (ADU's) at the Grove in Arlington, VA since 2008 and 2 ADU's in Fairfax County, VA since 2009. The ADU's are income and rent restricted, with limits established by the respective Counties. In 2009 CFH completed the construction of a duplex on Charles Street in Fredericksburg, VA. In 2012 CFH acquired 7 single family detached units, also in Fredericksburg, VA. All CFH rentals are leased to LMI (low to moderate income) local workforce Tenants. CFH continues to co-own its original development, a 30-unit apartment complex, which primarily provides homes to Voucher holders; National Housing Trust is the Managing Partner. The CFH rental units provide homes to approximately 175 Tenants annually.
