ALL OF OUR PROGRAMS ENABLE GIRLS TO DISCOVER NEW SKILLS OR INFORMATION, CONNECT WITH THEIR PEERS AND OTHER CULTURES AND TAKE ACTION TO MAKE THEIR WORLD A BETTER PLACE. THROUGH OUR ANNUAL COOKIE PROGRAM, GIRLS DEVELOP ESSENTIAL LIFE SKILLS--GOAL SETTING, DECISION MAKING, MONEY MANAGEMENT, PEOPLE SKILLS, AND BUSINESS ETHICS--ALL WHILE SOARING IN CONFIDENCE AND PRACTICING LEADERSHIP. THIS GENERATED $2.5M, USED BY THE COUNCIL TO FURTHER THE MISSION OF LOCAL GIRL SCOUTING THROUGH PROGRAMS AND SERVICES. THE RECIPIENTS ACCRUED MORE THAN 4800 HOURS COMPLETING A VARIETY OF SUSTAINABLE PROJECTS IN THE FIELDS OF EDUCATION, HEALTH CARE, MILITARY AND VETERAN AFFAIRS, STEM, AND PUBLIC SAFETY.
