"Early Care and Education: Community Play and Learn groups (Smart Start funded) is a a part day program for children ages 3-4 providing early learning so that young children are prepared for Kindergarten, "Ready to learn, Ready for Life" 30 children ages 3 & 4 attended Community Play and Learn Quality Maintenance (Smart Start funded) provides consultation, coaching and training and professional development opportunities to childcare facilities and early care educators in order to maintain a high-quality early learning. 6 childcare facilities (centers and homes) participated in technical assistance to maintain high quality infant and toddler care. 33 early care educators attended training workshops. 13 early care educators participated in professional development consultation and planning to enhance teacher quality in preschool classrooms.
