About

Child care: The Pickens County YMCA is the largest child care provider in the area. With approximately 1,300 children in our Y's afterschool program, 90 children in the 21st century grant afterschool program, and 1,325 children in the summer camp we make a huge impact on a large number of children. Our values of honesty, respect, and caring and responsibility are taught to all children. Motto - Our summer camp program provides a positive and safe environment for the children in our community where they can enjoy a summer full of achievement, relationships, and belonging. Each child participates in new experiences through camper choice, weekly theme activities, field trips, devotions, and character development.
