About this organization
Mission
Hope Haven, a foundation of recovery, provides life skills for chemically dependent adults and families within a supportive residential environment leading to independence.
About
Clinical Program: Hope Haven is a 24-hour supervised residential recovery program. Our staff works intensively with women, men and families with a substance abuse disorder. Last year 307 adults and 20 children received residential substance abuse services. Of those served 225 (73%) had a mental health diagnosis and 173 (56%) had a chronic health condition. Our trained staff works with residents to promote self-sufficiency and a drug free lifestyle by utilizing individual and group therapeutic sessions, educational groups, parenting skills, basic independent living skills and peer support. During the past year 177 (62%) adults left the program with 110 (62%) of those going to permanent housing and 117 (66%) left with income. Other issues: we continue to receive referrals for residents that have a substance abuse disorder not related to opioids and it is becoming increasingly harder to find funding for those residents.
