For the past 30 years, RCMF board has organized, promoted, and presented the Redwood Coast Music Festival, a four day event featuring a variety of music including jazz, swing, zydeco, blues, and more. The weekend features a variety of headliner bands, guest artists, youth bands, and local bands who perform for over 4,500 music and dance enthusiasts. In total, there are over 100 sets of music starting with the kick off dance on Thursday night. Local businesses and individuals help sponsor this event. The festival is organized by an all-volunteer board and is assisted by community volunteers who help operate the venues.
