COMMUNITY CAFE:The Community Cafes food programs are the most vital link in the safety net in the Longmont area. Two hot meals (breakfast and lunch) are served per day to up to 261 persons with a total of 95,157 hot meals served in 2017. An average of 72 households per day receives groceries from the Food Pantry for a total of 1,028,459 pounds of food distributed. Often, the meals and groceries provided at the Community Cafe are the first steps to connecting with more comprehensive services such as homelessness prevention and Day Shelter services.
