The Organizations program services included the following: We Are Girls Conferences: Conferences are held in Austin, Houston, and soon-to-be Dallas, Texas annually and are designed especially for thousands of 3rd-8th grade girls and the adults who care about them. With dynamic break-out sessions and an empowering dance party, girls get to be totally in charge of their day. They walk away inspired by whats possible and with a new belief in their personal power. Leadership positions are available for high school girls. Girl Connect: The Organization partners with 60+ Texas schools to improve educational outcomes for girls, parents and teachers with its Girl Connect program, parent outreach and professional development for teachers. The program strives to:o Increase attendance rateso Reduce chronic absenceo Increase retention of effective teacherso Reduce the discipline rateo Increase parent engagemento Reduce the overall dropout rate Camp: The Organizations summer day camp serves girls in grades entering 3rd-8th. Camp girls participate in fun, interactive workshops during two week-long sessions that are designed to ignite the power in girls and teach them skills to thrive and believe in their ability to be unstoppable. Girls who join the summer day camp gain new skills, new friendships, and a new sense of self. Pathfinder: The Organizations Pathfinder Leadership Summit is a personal and professional development program aimed at giving rising 9th-12th grade girls a head start on their road to independence, college and career. In addition to the yearly summit, the Organization also hosts Pathfinder Workshops throughout the year.
