Mission

To help impoverished communities in Haiti obtain the resources they need to manage their own development. Roots of Development, Inc. promote an alternative approach to rural development by facilitating a process in which we listen to diverse community voices.

About

Leadership development, local capacity-building, and community-driven development workshops. We provide a series of trainings throughout the year to help build the capacity of community leaders and elected officials on the island of La Gonave, in order to increase local development activities and improve quality of life on the island. For a portion of this project we worked closely with a partner organization, Cle Haiti.
