The mission of MDSC is to support individuals with severe developmental disabilities to reach their maximum potential by providing services based on the needs, desires, and abilities of those individuals served. There are four major components to the services provided by MDSC - residential, day/work, transportation and medical services. MDSC has 10 community integrated group homes with capacity of 4 to 8 beds per home. MDSC provides 24 hour/7 days per week staffing support for individuals. MDSC provides a variety of day activities and work opportunities to 64 developmentally disabled individuals 5 days per week. Activities at our day service center include life skills development, communication, recreation & leisure, and work activities. MDSC also provides occupational, physical, and speech and hearing therapy through the use of professionals throughout the Missoula community.
