YESS served 32 youth in the Youth Quest Independent Living Program in 2018 with a total of serving 44 youth since 2017( as of 8/31/19). Youth served include 50% male and 50% female. 17% received their GED, 29% received their High School diploma, 31% were enrolled in a GED program, 19% were enrolled in High School, and 5% were enrolled in post secondary education. 71% of youth served were employed and 29% were unemployed. 40% of youth served were parenting youth and 60% were non parenting youth. 85% were African American, 6% White, 6% were mixed race, and 3% were hispanic. The average age of young adults served is 19 and the average length of stay in the Youth Quest ILP is 8 months.
