About this organization
Mission
The Eagles Autism Challenge is a fundraising event that includes a one-day bike ride and family-friendly 5k run/walk featuring Philadelphia Eagles players, alumni, coaches, executives, cheerleaders and Swoop.
About
The Eagles Autism Challenge (EAC) believes that autism is an area that needs more attention and financial support. EAC hosted a one day event that included a bike ride and family-friendly 5k run/walk that begins and ends at Lincoln Financial Field. EAC understands that it is difficult for a single institution to address the complex medical and scientific issues presented by the condition of autism, so a coalition with our founding beneficiary partners Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Drexel University and Thomas Jefferson University and Jefferson Health was formed. Proceeds generated through fundraising efforts for this one day event funded grants provided to the three founding beneficiaries. The purpose of the grants is to bring fresh ways of thinking and additional resources to the field of autism research.
