The Childrens Advisory Network provided individual speech therapy to over 40 children last year of which 80% were Medicaid or CHP+. The others were private pay with reduced payments for over 70% for all of our clients. Our team screened over 11500 children at a 75% reduced rate or free rate at local preschools, private schools and head start. We also provided free educational training on hearing health and speech disorders to over 1000 children and teachers. These free workshops provided free educational bookmarks and handouts. The agency donated gas, food and rent coupon cards to 20% of our clients in need of financial aid. We donated volunteer time for screenings, workshops, parent consultations and other community activities to serve the community.
