The Summer School of Rock program provides 3 hours of daily musical instruction, yoga, meditation, and art to campers who range in age from 8 to 12 years old. 27 campers attended the program and $4,451 of camp tuition / sponsorships was raised to fund in-school arts and music enrichment programs. This program saw a 42% increase in the number of campers from the prior year and a 322% increase in funds available to the schools. Classroom equity grants - EFEC awarded $19,819 in STEM and arts and music classroom enrichment at nine district schools: five elementary schools, two middle schools and two high schools impacting 1,539 total students; two district offices that include the entire spectrum of learning from special needs to highly achieving students; and continued support for a new district math program that is impacting all students throughout ECS.
