Legal assistance: received and reviewed several hundred requests for assistance via our legal intake process. We selected cases to pursue according to our criteria including the nature of the civil liberties violation, whether the case would impact many people rather than only the individual client, and if the issues in the case are not otherwise being adequately litigated or pursued by the private bar.
