TWI works with pre-apprenticeship programs throughout the Bay Area in support of outreach recruitment and mentorship. TWI has recruited women for numerous cohorts with its close partners and provides curriculum and instruction support. These training programs increase the pipeline of well-prepared women to enter construction and related trades apprenticeships. TWI also presents a regional women in apprenticeship training institute, a full day of workshops bringing together contractors, apprenticeship coordinators, union representatives, pre-apprenticeship professionals, agency workforce professionals and community based organizations.
