To inspire and motivate underserved students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). To enlighten and engage families, educators, communities, and employers to assist underserved students pursuing STEM careers. National awards conference bringing together high school and college students with professional engineers and scientists from industry, academia, the military, and government sectors for 3 days of workshops in skill-building, leadership development, and career opportunity enhancement with a career and graduate fair. A competitive college bowl offering college students an interactive professional development experience as they compete on teams coached by professionals. A 3-hour awards show, and 4 other recognition events capture the accomplishments of 50 world-class engineers and scientists that have made extraordinary achievements in their related fields. At the conference, scholarships are awarded to students majoring in the fields of engineering and science with a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Scholarship recipients are evaluated and selected by a national selection committee.
