The mission of Na Lei Wili AHEC is to grow our own healers and promote the health and wellness of underserved communities on Oahu and within Kauai County through partnerships, education, and advocacy.

Grow our own healers program; K-12: one-hundred-sixty-one (161) students received health education in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, epidemiology, nutrition, veterinary science, behavioral health, cultural awareness and competency; health skills in CPR/first aid/AED, cert, casting, suturing, taking & recording accurate vital signs; health careers awareness in surgical, laboratory, nursing, and other health professions. Various community health professionals, clinics, hospitals, colleges, and other agencies contributed 337 hours of staff time and provided program content, materials, and supplies through the core programs (health occupations for teens club, HOSA, teen health camp, summer health adventure, and youth/elderly health connection.
