Daily After School Programs- provided daily after school programs at 7 middle and intermediate schools in Bay Shore, Brentwood, and Central Islip. Program operates Monday-Friday 2:30-5:30 pm. Activities included- homework, snack, wellness/fitness, cooking, drama, art, dance, music, tutoring, computers and recreation. Youth Development Activities- Programs and services are provided daily, weeknights and weekends throughout various sites in Bay Shore, Brentwood, Central Islip and West Islip. Programs serve ages 5-21. They included tutoring, work readiness, youth job development and placement, discussion groups, summer days program, summer employment, youth advisory councils, community improvement etc.
