The behavioral health resource guide was updated and revised in the spring of 2019 and developed and printed for use by law enforcement, hospital emergency rooms and school social workers. 4,862 were printed and distributed in the county. The guide is also given to every individual going through MHFA training. KTL booklets and DVDs were distributed to students, parents and community members at events this year. 375 youth and parents were trained in know the law. Alcohol use by high school aged youth in Lake County dropped from 21.3% in 2016 to 19.9% in 2018. 755 individuals have been trained as mental health first aiders, exceeding the projects objective of training 510 people in the community. As a result of these trainings, 804 individuals were referred to mental health services which surpasses the projects goal of 250. Collaborated with Hernando, Sumter and Marion County to coordinate a circuit-wide substance exposed newborn summit attracting over 166 attendees
