CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER OF THE FINGER LAKES:THE CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER OF THE FINGER LAKES (CACFL) COORDINATES CHILD ABUSE INVESTIGATIONS IN A COLLABORATIVE AND CHILD-FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT TO MINIMIZE FURTHER TRAUMA TO THE CHILD. IN 2018, THE CACFL ADDED A SITE IN PENN YAN SERVING FAMILIES IN YATES COUNTY (NOW SERVING ONTARIO, SENECA AND YATES); SERVED 320 CHILDREN; HELD A TWO-DAY PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE AT HOBART AND WILLIAM SMITH COLLEGES WITH 150 ATTENDEES; PROVIDED TWELVE SEPARATE TRAININGS FOR PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD OF CHILD ABUSE; AND BROUGHT IN OVER $100,000 IN FUNDRAISING TO INCLUDE A SUCCESSFUL GALA WHICH RAISED $38,000.
